So it's just like ordering direct from The Reptile House...

I don't wear dresses ... ...

ok, mostly ... but believe me, this were no good look on me. :urff: :urff: :urff:

However, another thing: what is your size?
Maybe they fit you ... most of them are from the 90ies, size L ...

I thought there must be a good reason why you’d not tried that :-). All my sisters shirts were L, though I’m really more of an M.

There is.
I really like them, especially the long-sleeve Sisters Reptile one.

Although size L, I shall probably never give it away ... :D

However, I will surely never wear the MERCIFUL RELEASE II one,
which is, in fact, size M and still far too long and wide for me.

Or the common STRANGER black T-Shirt with blue design and 1993 tour dates, size L ...

or the, how was it called, STRANGER II, Black design on Cream / Ecro T-Shirt ...

Clearly, not made for me - it's size X!!! :urff: :urff: :urff:

So if anybody is interested, just PM me. I tried them on and put them in the drawer ...
these poor shirts are suffering in the dark for more than a decade,
so we will surely come to terms.

I really don't know, what I've done to receive such a variety of non-fitting sizes of shirts.
My size is and has always been S. But as I gather from the all those Reptile House
leaflets now, they hardly ever offered anything in size S in the 1990ies.

This changed with the Millennium,
but then I just could not buy one of those pretty orange girl-sized tops...   ...

Doesn't matter, orange doesn't go with the colour of my skin, anyway.
I do, in fact, look ghastly in orange. My skin loves dark, dark blue
and black and khaki-green and certain shades of red and violett
and dark brown, and only very, very light shades of yellow.

FWIW I work for HMV and recently ordered the UBG ones for my store. They haven't arrived yet, but when they do there will be at least one place in central Bristol stocking them...

Even though I already own two( one with sleeves, one with them cut off) it would be wonderful to walk into HMV in Nottingham and see them selling real Sisters shirts.

Backstreet merch are appallingly bad, I once waited a month for a hoodie from them only to be told it was out of stock.

Online merch sites are generally a bunch of useless liars, most of the items they claim to have "in stock" have to be ordered from suppliers on some forsaken radioactive island a thousand miles away

I'm really tempted to buy the Lucretia shirt from ebay, however since I already have both "Summer" and "Crash and Burn" part of me wonders whether I'd definately get the shirt I want.If the seller has a batch of different ones, would they even notice that they were different?

Oh, crap...

I went ahead and ordered my UBG-shirt from Backstreet before reading the negative comments about them here.
Need I be worried? Are they really that useless?

Good quality?? Or bootlegs

They're decent enough quality. They could be bootlegs but as I haven't seen the latest tour ones am not entirely sure. If they are they're reasonable enough quality. Added to the fact that on occasion the official Sisters ones haven't always been of the greatest standard in quality terms. Am not much help I'm afraid! The Groovy one has Copyright 1982 Merciful Release below the Head and Star but again easily copied I suppose. Am happy enough with them in terms of look and feel. Sorry for not being much help!

Never mind. 30euros for both wont break the bank. I'll go for it.

I've ordered from them in the past - main difficulty was having them send the wrong item. :urff: However, they rectified the situation fairly promptly, considering it was an overseas transaction and all.

Play.com are currently processing my t-shirt order that I placed ages ago. They had some trouble with my credit card, so I think they're serious about it. :D
