i'm currently looking at a way to configure the "iTunes DJ" option to avoid anything tagged with a Genre of "Live"

that way i can still have all my Sisters boots in itunes but can avoid having a ropey version floorshow from some cruddy uni gig in the middle of england circa 1984 come on in the middle of a shuffle session  ;D

Greatly enjoyed the various shuffle selections, so thought I would offer my own. Out of 11,818, the ipod seems to have a liking for Clan of Xymox:

Clan of Xymox - The Same Dream
Danzig - 777
Calvin Johnson & Mark Pickerell - Sand**
Cure - Close to Me
16 Horsepower - Day of the Lords
Voivod - Shortwave Intro
Peter Murphy - Never Man
Clan of Xymox - Doubts
Christian Death - Love is Like a Bitchin' in My Heart
Wire - French Film Blurred.

My two pence worth, and ta for the enjoyable thread.

** no, I have no idea who these chaps are, but they were part of a conspiracy which murdered the wonderful Lee Hazelwood's songs on an alleged tribute album. Would have preferred Blixa's version.
