Looks like we traded one lovely weather trait for another one.
Looks like you spoke too soon CP, it's snowing here in Durham. More off-piste skiing for the lad & dad today
Yep, looks like I did speak too soon with my previous reply - complete white out blizzard coming down now with quite some effort!
edit: and too soon again. It's now a bright sunny winters afternoon with a blue sky.
I can has weather-related confused.

It's snowed a bit here, hasn't put much down but, as its so cold, the sledging hill has got progressively faster all day. Kids schools look like they are going to be open. fingers crossed, so maybe I'll get a peaceful day snowblading on the hill
bugger going shopping we've got enough stuff in the freezer

Just walked only about 400 yards to the shop to buy a few things and back again.
Saw two cars who'd given up at the side of the road, one having a gentle bump into another and numerous with rear wheels spinning to no end at all.
This is one of the main roads that runs all the way from Gateshead to the coast so I dread to think what other areas are like tonight!

I'm "Working from home" again today.
I daren't even try moving the car; I'm scared I'd start sliding and not be able to stop when I reach the main road at the bottom.
