2011: FALAA Vinyl Reissue

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

That's just a generic message, the item is still scheduled for release sometime later this year.

I'm not so sure. Now, several months later musicdirect.com tried to charge my credit card for this record. (Bummer my credit card expired meanwhile...)

It appears to be released, no longer listed as "Coming 2011" on MoFi's website, and MusicDirect claims to ship it within 24 hours. Copies should be in Europe any time soon then.

Just had an email from Music Direct. They have the record in stock and are shipping all the orders over the next couple days. I should have mine in 6-10 days apparently.

So, let us know!

Original mixes or not? Sound quality-wise is it truly awesome or just moderately awesome?

Only just had chance to dust of my record player, and put it on. So far sounds much better, much more clarity, and the bass sounds great, original mixes I think. Standard cover, with an added "mobile fidelity Sounds Lab" silver bar accross the top. Would have been nice to have the gatefold packaging..

Why do we keep buying the same albums over and over again?
Only the Americans could have built a place like this in the middle of a jungle.
