Ok, thanks, both were covers then. Not surprising because none of them sounded much like Sisters!
The party continues tomorrow

Excellent gig.
Favourite quote from Andrew: Thank you for coming. Its been a hell of a life and I would have gotten away with too if it wasnt for you pesky kids!
Cup Cakes were poor.
No decent new tshirts - just Alice, Slept (lyrics) and a Long sleeve that looked a bit like the 2010 one.

Is there a "Gift That Shines" in the "Pipeline"?

Yeah it was a good one. Didn't hear a right lot from Andrew aside from the "pesky kids" comment as above.
Free cupcakes were nice and sh*t. I gave mine to a bar girl. I got nothing in return. Bitch.
Free postcard collection is kinda nice and I like it. 9 of them.
I was really hoping for a surprise song (we got More I guess) but it wasn't forthcoming. I couldn't tell you what the band were like onstage as I was too busy with my shirt off being one of those 'shirt off thrashing about like a silly man' type people.
Andrew, Chris and Ben came to the aftershow. Andrew got swamped. Naturally. I managed to shake his hand and ask "Can we have Crash and Burn five times tomorrow night?" He smiled the way nervous people smile. He seems smaller than last time I spoke to him.
People wise, great as usual to meet people, and a special mention to Planet Dave who was there.
Roll on tomorrow.

Thanks!
Had to know what I missed out on.
I saw no dark haired girls handing out cakes??? I expected some Mrs. Adjani look a likes.

Considering the fact that the fifth row wanted to be one with the front row, I have to thank whoever for being tall and not claustrophobic (no, I'm not used to it
). Sorry
_emma_ for torturing you
Nice gig, glad to see you all again and meet some other heartlanders as well
See you tomorrow.
BTW, I have a spare ticket for tomorrow, anyone interested?

Overall I had a great time, it was nice to finally put some faces to names at the dry dock but I never did find out who was handing out the name stickers.
Contrary to popular opinion I thought the cupcakes were nice, each one ices with an XXX on it. Some idiot was kicked out for abusing the girls who were handing them out in some way, anyone see what happened there?
The gig itself was good and it was nice to hear More in the set list. Could hardly see a thing from up on the balcony due to the smoke so its good to see some photos from the event to see what we were missing out on.
Oh and if the "filmic delights" were what was on the screens after space ritual then that's not quite what I had hoped for. Random movie clips with no sound for those who weren't there. I didn't stick around afterwards so maybe they were later.

"Pipeline" is an old surf rock song by The Chantays and Anthrax covered it on "Attack Of The Killer B's". It was a nice surprise.
Anyway, a solid gig and lots of fun. I've got no regrets giving up my ticket for the Arsenal vs Barcelona game last night for it.

f**king great night, oodles of Heartlanders and a brilliant gig. The Lorries cover was a nice surprise, poor Mr Catalyst had to put up with me raving about it. Postcards are ace but the lack of XXX merchandise was disappointing. I took loads of pictures and will share later.

Good to hear the magic's still all there. I wished for More on the setlist on these very forums last week, and lo and behold you damn well got More - how's about a You Tube clip of that and the new covers for us lazy, tight-arsed, skinflint workaholics who didn't bother showing up...?

I'm the nametag man,
Headingly, I'll have more labels tonight for the permanently pissed
Wot a cracking time, I'll try and post my shaky phone pictures later today.
I did see who got ejected for bun-flinging, but I'll wait for someone else to say it...
