Bollocks flaps nads and twats, just found out about this from the free paper that they give out on the train, apparently the producer who cancelled it is getting death threats, nothing to do with me, word is Van Halen pulled out, not sure how true that is, reckon they should come down anyway, lots of decent venues don't have enough shows...

Hoping that, if they cancel Aus, the girls will still come to NZ..isn't that a wee bit unlikely though - for one show?
Yes. Powerstation now saying Auckland gig cancelled.
:( :( :(
Well there goes that plan. Really upset now. This has ruined my whole year

We were very sorry to learn this week that the Soundwave Revolution 2011 festival in Australia has been cancelled by the promoter. A message on the festival website reads 'tickets purchased online will be refunded automatically as soon as it can be processed. If you purchased from an outlet, refunds will be available next week from point of purchase.' Unfortunately, this means that we have to also postpone our gig in Auckland, New Zealand, as well. Sorry about that.

We are now looking at coming to Australia and New Zealand another time. We'll let you know when.

Thanks for sharing that. I hope another time means really soon.

Billboard a cracking venue too. The Soundwave canx smells funny.

Allegedly, some "headliners" withdraw their agreement ... :urff: ...

Anyway, I'm sure, The Sisters will now be more motivated than ever to come over as soon as there is another chance to do so ...   ... :von: ...

very sorry for them as well, btw ... but it's surely not the end of all days ... 8) ...

If they are still going to come to NZ they would align that with a trip to Aus I expect - they surely wouldn't want to do the trip twice - once for each country !

Info I got from a lady in Brisbane is that it was Gimp Bizkit that pulled out.

Here's hoping it means NZ as well. Not going to be happy if it means Big Day Out, but I'll take anything to be honest.

(Be an excellent gig in the Powerstation if anyone who does the booking is reading!!)

That is one of the hottest couple of weeks of the year - we are talking 40+C in most areas. Keen for the gig, less keen to pass out in a festival crowd watching my fave band melt... I think I will hold off buying tickets this time til the last minute!

You're in Melbourne - temp may well drop by 20c half way through their set and then go back up to 40c for the encore ;D
