Burzum, please don't leave because of this topic.

This sort of personal attack on another HL user is totally unacceptable. Quite frankly dummkopf you're lucky not to get an outright ban. You're not a moderator here and don't try to appoint yourself as one.

FWIW I would have made the Tolkien link before the Norwegian metal link. But then, I am a Tolkien über-geek. ;D

The great lesson there is that you don't have to agree with what the Nazis did, but, yes, be honest about it, they did have the best uniforms. A lot of people can't come to terms with something as banal as that. They can't admit it, because somehow they feel like they're approving of what the Nazis did.

You'd be very surprised how wrong you are  Don't make shortsighted assumptions about other people of whom you just know a nickname and 2, 3 posts from.

Ah, Manson. I'm very fond of the album "The Manson Family sing the songs of Charles Manson." I recommend it to anyone who hasn't heard it. It's wonderful. Really.

And listening to it doesn't make me want to kill people, unlike most of the music in the charts.

Don't take time off just because of one dummkopf.

Gut nacht.
Sometimes I love you, Bartek.

I didn't knew that band as well but after certain reading about the band and it's leader I'd agree that this was probably not the best idea to pick that name like it wouldn't be a good idea to call yourself "Ian Stuart" (to pick a more prominent example).

I think Burzum didn't knew the background so I don't see the need to withdraw - maybe just some time-off to pick another name

jester's licence then, yeah...
If we have a positive relationship to our homeland, to our blood, to our race, to our religion and to our culture we will not destroy any of this with modern "civilization" (id est capitalism, materialism, Judeo-Christianity, pollution, urbanization, race mixing, Americanization, socialism, globalization, et cetera). The "nazi ghost" has scared millions of Europeans from caring about their blood and homeland for sixty years now, and it is about time we banish this ghost and again start to think and care about the things that (whether we like it or not) are important to us.

Does Burzum go on to tell us the things that are important to us?

I would like to know more, he sounds so wise

I would freeze to death on the steppes of Russia for somebody as bright as this.

(Maybe he needs to take the "z" out of Americanization though).

Americans spell it with a "z".
