IZ.

Nah, we 'd probably be somewhere at the bar, looking at the pretty lights!
Yeah right... like I could not go mosh just a little bit ;D
We could do a relaxing mosh on Body Electric, just to give our muscles a rest before Carcass start their gig, for example

IZ.
Of course, it the Sissies after all ;D :innocent:
I am very much looking forward to the Carcass gig (and Napalm Death, Graveyard, Sabbath etc )! Good line up for now

You can't go on your own. I'm not being married to someone who goes to festivals on their own!'.

Nice.

Sounds like Mrs C would get on well with the distinctly un-goth Mrs L

I'm blessed. My wife is from the other side of the coin - 'well there's no way I'm going to that!', so I end up going on my own. That said, she did go to Suikerrock with me as her first Sisters gig and enjoyed it, but then that was a great little spot too.

Bloody hell, concentrate on life for five minutes and they're back again! Well, at those prices you can count me out but fingers crossed everyone has a great time, band, fans, casual observers and all :von:

Any chance of other UK gigs?
London? South? Southwest? ...Bournemouth?

When I'm not too pessimistic I'm far too optimistic.
Realism doesn't even come into it.

Think this year might be similar to 2011 where they split up Europe in chunks over the year,

not promising they will of course, but if I were in the UK I wouldn't rush away buying tickets for Linz just yet

the sisters and new model army on the same day on the same stage is very appealling. however i wouldn't mind seeing slayer and iron maiden as well and you just know they're going to clash.

So it's the Bohemia Stage (i.e. tent) again. At least Chas n Dave are on earlier in the day so there's no risk of the embarrassment of drawing a smaller crowd than the Rockney legends.

Right I've bought my ticket for Saturday, does anyone want to arrange somewhere to meet in the afternoon? I know a fair few others are going.

Stage times for the weekend: Sisters on at 11.15 (only band playing after Iron Maiden finish so arrive early), and Eureka Machines are on the Satellite Stage at 6.30. If anyone's feeling super helpful, Dave from Eureka Machines will be at the merch stand for the Satellite Stage at 2pm with a few flyers that can be handed out for their set while going about your business!
