We would probably fall over. It would also wreck a major topic of conversation at HL meet-ups.

Better to shave it all at once than lose it gradually.
He seems a bit young for that, doesn't he?

I was so surprised when he came on stage, with the sunglasses and shaved head he resembled Eldritch
By the way, Ben is such a cutie! Why doesn't he get more attention? Is it because he is plain handsome and doesn't... err... "experiment" with his outfits as much? Not as much potential to shock and bewilder us?

I'm not sure Site, but listen, I met him at a gig in may last year and he was truely LOVELY! he picked me off the floor and we talked for a while, we took some pictures together, nd we talked about the sisters, touring, music, His own band Night by Night, and it was a blast.

Aww
... I am sure he must be lovely! Thank you
LyanvisAberrant for sharing this sweet story!
There is this cute interview
Ben Christo of The Sisters of Mercy Interview / Psychedelic Circus on Error FM but it's slightly oldish and you all probably know it.
Around 6 minutes in he tells how he joined the Sisters

Ben is such a sweetheart. Met him in Manchester on his first UK outing with the Sisters, and got a huge hug when I said I'd enjoyed the current lineup as much, if not more than with Adam.

A-side ARMS (with Lisa Cuthbert) and B-side FAR PARADE, that were an exciting Sisters single in best tradition ...

I met Ben in the toilet of a pub once. We did not hug
A very friendly guy and I think he has a good vibe over him. I'd rather have a drink with him than with Chris. Just like I'd rather have a drink with Wayne than with Eldritch. What can I say, it ain't exactly rocket science

I was at school with a guy who started losing his hair around the age of 17-18.

There will be an interview in the next edition of
vive Le rock too. On their FB they were asking for questions (you can guess what people suggested
) and have now said that the interview went well and that they have got some "gold dust"...

Now that the May 2014 tour is officially over, it seemed reasonable to bang out a new interview, in the next edition of vive Le rock, while we're putting the July 2014 tour together (which usually takes a long time) and getting somebody to promote it with a bit of muscle (which usually takes even longer). This interview was due to start with a stonking (of course) conversation consisting of words spoken by Andrew Eldritch. It's very pretty, and probably very cruel. It mentions cats, computers and Japanese porn.
We planned to add another conversation (Chris supplying words and Kleenex), and a third conversation which should have been with Ben; we didn't decide whether he'd turn up. It might have been something you've heard us all say before; it might not. What with one thing and another, this was not to be. Sorry. We are working on the July 2014 tour, inter alia, but the matter of interviews is currently on hold.

There is a short interview with AE about Sonisphere in the new edition of Vive Le Rock which is now out. This also mentions that the second half of the interview will be published in the next VLR out at the end of July, and features info about the band's plans for the future etc.

there are three groups of audience to which statements about "plans" are addressed:
1) journalists;
2) boys and girls who don't know/forgot and/or still believe that TSOM is something more than touring-money-making machine;
3) members of the band.
of course, i'm still somehow wishing that i'm wrong, but after Glorious Summer things looks exactly what they are, not what we want it to.
