That used to be the Engineering Wing, where I did my HND and Degree. It saddens me everytime I walk past. Like today.

Whilst operating at my usual pace, I've only just noticed that NMA are playing in Chester the very next night, looks like this might be a good week to gig.

My resistance is starting to crumble a bit.... and its only Leeds..... feel like ive dipped my toe again since last week so does the foot get wet?

Aargh... If nowt else Tim's crawl sound like a good day out and i expect you dont get searched for that.

Well, grad school plans fell apart. Seems I can't go to Leeds anyhow.

Leeds tickets arrived today and I've been smiling ever since :D

I might be at the NMA gig as well Swinnow. Are you going to see The Damned in Chester on 17th?

Mine arrived this morning too. I've not been to Leeds for about 10 years, but it's probably worked out cheaper to get there and stay overnight than turn up and try for tickets on the day in Manchester. Will also be at the Damned in Chester.

Sorry, doubt I can get to The Damned, got family stuff on the calendar that night on the Wirral that will be too hard to avoid. :-(

Anyone else having problems with their tickets for Leeds? I know it's been happening at some of the other venues...

So I had this interesting email conversation:
ticketabc wrote:Dear Customers,

Your tickets for The Sisters Of Mercy + Black Moth at Leeds Beckett
Students' Union on the 14/10/2015 will now be available for collection
from the venue box office on the night of the event.

Please bring your email order confirmation, photo id and card you
purchased the tickets with.

Please let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

markfiend wrote:In regard my booking reference ********

I paid a postage and handling fee of £2.50 and a booking fee of £3.58.
What exactly was I paying for if I now have to collect my tickets?

I demand either:
a) a Refund of £6.08
b) the tickets concerned to be delivered to me as I originally paid for.

Regards
ticketabc wrote:Dear Mark,

The postage and handling fee covers card company charges as well as postage or delivery to the venue for collection. The terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase state that we reserve the right to change the method of ticket delivery. The Booking fee is a charge applied by the promoter to cover costs associated with the event.

As such, these charges are non-refundable.

Please let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Well that was a hearty "F*CK YOU" from Ticket ABC wasn't it? :urff:

Ticketmaster (for Glasgow) lets you print out your own ticket, though am still paranoid a bit about the venue not accepting it for some reason. Crash were fine as usual for Leeds.

I went to Crash because I try to support independent business!! That ticket arrived ages ago!

Obviously, there was no independent retailer I was aware of for the Ritz, so I ended up usin' Ticketbastard.

When I say I went to Crash, I used their website, obv... but still.. posted 10th July!

The annoying thing is Ticketbastard sent me the Rock City ticket around the same time as Crash sent their ticket out.. but the Manchester ticket? Erm, nope.

I thought SeeTickets were bad ergo I didn't use them this time for RC...

*sigh*

Apparently some Goff band from Leeds are playing the Fenton on wednesday. A fiver in to see Salvation do a warm up for Whitby, doors at 5.45 band on at half six.
I believe the phrase is "be rude not to"

About to post exactly as per the above post! Salvation are indeed playing and it would indeed be rude not to.
