European Championship

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I don't watch football, but apparently Roy Hodgson has resigned now. Do we all have to resign?
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

heartbroken. we were frozen in the first half. kudos for continued attack and the fact we did not give up until the last minute. but Belgium will not win this tournament. they are not that good. yesterday was lovely, my Azzurrii won and well Iceland...now i am thinking of course what if Hungary went throgh second...continues crying

crying even more that Italy will meet Germany next....i swear I will turn grey before all this is over

I've just bought Bonnie Tyler's DVD of Great Goalkeeping Blunders. It's totally clips of Joe Hart. Ahem. Sorry.

got to hand it to the welsh, that was a fabulous match, fabulous victory. let's face it they're the nearest we've got to a chance of a british win so i'm with norman on this one. second goal- awesome. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Stunning performance from Wales!

A couple of superstars in the Wales team who sacrifice their egos for the sake of the team.

Top stuff. :notworthy:

The French played very well. And it looked so easy to win over Iceland ... ...
They might well win the EM.

People cheered and loughed when Wales put third goal. Yes, it was damn funny. Taking result of FR vs ICE, Wales turned out to be that underdog, David versus Goliath and so. And i hope they gonna kick Portugal ass, simply because Portugal doesn't play well, yet they're in semi-finals.

I wished that Deutschland dopped off, but Neuer was tiny bit better than Buffon; Kudos for Neuer. :notworthy:

he confirmed he will continue, so that's great.

yes well Iceland looked much like Hungary against Belgium in the first half, pretty much frozen. too bad really. but the French did good, I hope they will beat Germany. I was not amused with them

Also fully agree as to Buffon... he's the best goalkeeper there is over the past decade and so it's good to hear that he decided to go on ... ;D ...

The Germans ... did not play all that well during the first matches. But the last match with Italy was well done, apart from Boateng's misery ...
anyway, I won't expect them to win over France, but one never knows ... ...

well the French did better than the Germans that's for sure. Germany should have taken care of the anyways weaker Italy so much faster. in any case the winner of that match was obviously Hungary  as in Kassai. and primadonnas: let's look at slow motion Boateng. okay okay I go away now. my problem is i like football that flows. Germany is efficient but dont play beautiful football.
