Hello Elizabeth

Yes please don't worry, you're registered to receive information. I will hopefully be sending out a blanket update to everyone soonish. This is what I am telling people at the moment:

you're on the list to be notified when we have a more definite date, it's not going to be for a while yet - release date tentatively set for April/May.....

We will email everyone who has registered an interest when we know more.

kind regards,
Hedge/Cadiz

Gothicbiff - i think you meant to put this in the Gift thread:

Will the Manc blankets (Mankets anyone?) be rain resistant? Coat on standby....

No! They're rainophilic, they are designed to attract the sweet sweet stuff outta the sky. That said, I'd double-check if I was you that they ain't scouseophobic, you never know with them Mancs, especially these days :P

It's going to rain? I knew I shouldn't have had my jacket painted in watercolours!

There's a saying in Manchester: if you can see City Tower, it's going to rain. If you can't, it's raining.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Shorts, vest and flip flops required. As with any tropical storm.

What's the thinking on pre-gig drinks?
Anywhere half decent near the venue?

There's a Brewdog a couple of doors up, but I don't know how decent that is?

There's a "Spoons" on the corner of Oxford St and Portland St and the Grand Central or Rain Bar are both sound and within easy walking distance too.

We've usually met at Grand Central for shows at the Ritz, but this one's a bit more distant, isn't it? Still, I'll defer to those who know the area more! :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

There's a pub at the back of Albert Hall, the Ralph Abercromby - dunno what the beer's like though, I've only been as part of a 'ghost walk' (they laid bodies out on the bar after Peterloo, apparently).

The other thing is that it's a match evening, so we might want to avoid places that'll be rammed with footie fans.

The Manc derby is the following evening, so you might be okay in that respect
Cheers.
