Temple Of Love - 20th Anniversary Release

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I guess someone remixed it themself.
knew a bloke from leeds called Paul, he used to mix records for himself, lonely type never got out much, but he did mix up a whole bunch of Sisters stuff, even got it on tape and bootlegged in that dodgy market down the arches, apparantly, and I only have his word for this, Mr E got hold of some of em, there was Box released, now i have seen the box, long long ago, dubious black thing, very official looking, even had a note from Von with it....much too much Black Label TBird at the time, otherwise I would have done the friendly thing and swiped it...

does anyone have the faintest idea what i am talking about?
there was some 15 - 20 minute version of Temple and a very dubious mix of Kiss the Carpet..

is it old age? dementia? or just missing the days....

I use the phrase correct me if i'm wrong loosley as i know many people will now do just that....

pedantic geeks the lot of us!

can anyone of the above mentioned pedant explain the reasoning for the reversal of the TOL Sunburst on the 92 release? now theres a question for ya's.....

think though i can't confirm it, it was a Manchester artist, yeah a friend of his. Though like most things, in later life, he said he did it all on his lonesome :von:

the other bits easy .lol!! The death of the western dream, the sun setting in the west, becomes the sun rising in the east. old Ofra and all .

Ahem.... maybe not
Just remember this. This rabble you keep talking about does most of the working, paying and dying in this community.
