Watch this topic drift down the board

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Dead Thread.
Can we talk about Bauhaus (the band, not the Weimar Art School) now?

I dont' care for Bauhaus.

I however, do like Peter Murphy and Love and Rockets. More melodic, and much more hmmm. Well I like them better. Baushaus sounds like noise to me.

There ya go Barman Blast. Bauhaus!

I'm peeved BeeP cause I always reckoned the sum of the whole (the band Bauhaus) was greater than the parts. Love In Buckets eventually wrote some good stuff (1st album is atrocious). Murph never lived up to expectations (big in Turkey though, I believe), Tones On Tail had greatness in them. mmmmmmm I miss that band. Gotham, the video (which I have) is well worth a check out.

But I like the parts much better. I think Dan Ashe and Peter are good on their own. I've a ton of them, and Peter Murphy is actually in my car. I like Holy Smoke quite a lot. Let Me Love You and Secret Garden in particular.
