I think they hold all the live gigs there.
NOOOOO! Mind you, I'd always wondered how any band played at the Phono. Assuming the stage is where the DJ used to be, it would be pretty small and partly obscured by the pillar, surely?
Anyways, haven't seen them shrouded in smoke yet, and
AS LONG AS THEY'RE STILL PLAYING BODY ELECTRIC I'll forgive the change of venue.

I popped into the Basement last year
Bigger with a higher ceiling. Still has the Phono's cheep bar.
They had a smoke machine going then, and the stage is small but deep

Is the Bassment what used to be TopCats? If so, yikes and double yikes. That was THE place in the early ninties for those Mother&Daughter combos. Probably inspired Trisha, Oprah and all that gubbins.
One assumes it's better now.

I think it's been all sorts. On the edge of the Merrion Centre underneath what used to be Woosters pub. Used to be one of Mrs T's old haunts!

Dan and I ended up there after SG's leaving do. Didn't recognize any of the music myself but sounded like it might be right up Black Horizon's ginnell.

And have fun. Without me.
Apparently.
Geez.....

And of course all the Cure fans will be down at Pilton (Glastonbury Festival to you)
This should stop things from getting too soppy

We can have our own version with locals. Four of us are currently in Maryland, so we can plan a
Still in Baltimore party.
