How about the ones I allegedly studied at University? Le Grand Meaulnes is the only one I've ever read in French out of choice. Sexual content? I thought the whole point of the book was that there was never gonna be any sexual content. I must have fallen asleep by then...

no there wasn't any actual sex, but the whole point was that there should have been, that she ruined her own and other people's lives by rejecting his love and her own desires for a calling that she didn't in fact truly have.
