hugs to Mr Blast...
been there, and didn't keep a diary.
i was told that i couldn't be the office manager as i was probably going to have babies. they brought in a tosspot less qualified than me to do it, and had to sack him after 6 months for incompetence. I was the only f**king other admin person there!!!!
My word against the Partner's. no contest.
so all power to your elbow, my sweet.

How badly do you need this job James? As I understand it, you're young(ish) free and single. Give them the finger and go catch some rays in Sanzibar.

What sort of business is it? Concerned with bad press, public opinion, etc? Bottom line:
Sell the information to their competitors

Good luck. I've seriously fecked-over a few companies who've shafted me in business. And, yes, if they're dodgy, their competitors will pay for your info, sometimes.
Gloriously rewarding activity. The bigger they are, the harder they fall!

Hi James,
I've only discovered this thread now and just wanted to let you know that I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and that I wish you all the power and confidence you need to get through this.
The only advice I can give you is to stay as cold-blooded as possible. To watch what they do like from a outsiders point of view. It has nothing to do with you, and all to do with them. Bad managers and working collegues who have little perspectives for the future often need a scapegoat to have something they can put down. This has nothing to do with your qualities.
You've got legal help and emotional support on this forum, so you have people who keep your back protected while you face what's coming your way.
And one last thing: such dreadful ends often lead to something better. My mother was sacked at the tender age of 57, when nobody ever is meant to find a job again. But she did, and the new job was far better.
Sometimes the best things are given birth by bad things. And a dreadful ennd usually is better than a never ending dread.
All the best,
Eva.
