The 'T' section was a pretty busy.

think - The Chameleons, The Jam, The Nolans, The Who...
Blasty, I am not sure which statement made me laugh most!

with solo artists would you file by first name initial or surname initial?

and if they were also in a band (before or after) that was less successful than their solo career, do you group the band stuff in with the solo stuff? and likewise if their solo career wasnt as big as their band's career would you put the solo stuff in with the band stuff?

eg: marc almond & soft cell.

i have all my marc almond stuff just after soft cell. likewise with gavin friday just after the virgin prunes.

:?: :urff:

fwiw, i have a metal case completely seperate to all that gubbins that has all the sisters vinyl in. it also has my march violets, ghost dance, salvation and james ray stuff in there too. keep it in the family ;D

also, i have two distinct sections for records: one for electronic & techno-oriented stuff (oh which there is lots) and one for the rest - goth/alt/indie/rockabilly/etc

gets tricky with stuff like klf and utah saints though, where there is major crossover appeal  in that case i just stick it in the section that i currently find myself using the most (depends on what phase i'm going through)

That's tough. Martin Gore is filed next to Depeche Mode but The Smiths and Moz are filed seperately. David Bowie is filed under "B" but Frank Tovey is filed under "F" :? :?

Who doesn't like the KLF? :notworthy:

I'm just sorry their Y2K pyramid (remember that anyone?) never got built.
