not true, was originally adopted in world war I and mainly II to assist production in factories etc; thought everyone knew that. ho hum :?

it was the car-free sunday that was invented during the oil crisis in the 70s in order to save petrol. (at least in Germany :lol: ) Maybe you mixed that?
