That look might work on a 5 year old Ms Strange, but I've not had a cigarette for over 3 days, hardly touched a drink and more than halved my usual painkiller intake. Mr Biggy's just helping me get through my cravings. I reckon he's big and ugly enough to handle it.

Wasn't there a mod telling us to be nice a second ago here? :?:

I wouldn't want a death look from Miss Ems. I don't take to withering well. :P

I personally can't wait to watch a cock fight between middle class and sub-proletariat on HL. :P

They seek him here, they seek him there.

I had second thoughts. I'm sure everyone knows where threads that turn into sh1t-storms end up.

Aaah, so that's what's up with you. You're a drug addict. I did wonder if you were a stroppy young girl on the rag.

Anyway, yes I'm sure I'm big enough to handle some bourgeoisie with no cigarettes.

Do carry on.

I've always quite liked Coldplay. British Sea Power, Interpol and Editors have all had their Coldplay moments. 'Indie schmindie' I believe Ms Boudicca calls it. And James Blunt's alright if you're in a bottle of red and pizza for two sort of mood.

Niel Dimond is my first choice when I'm in that "sort of mood" :innocent:

While technically I'd agree, that logic in the 80s made Kylie and Jason indie, but Floodland not.

Would you really consider Floodland "indie" by any definition? :?

Maybe not. But a lot of the SGWBM-era singles made number 1 in the Indie charts, so the Sisters used to be classed that way.

Ignore me I'm being silly.

There's a change (he says before anyone else can).

i know "indie" strictly means "independently released" but it came to be the name of the style of music previously known as "whinging,anorak,show-gazing"-music....probably at about the time the sisters stopped being indie.

Heh heh. Indeed I do.

@ Dark, chill. It's bloody irrelevant whether said "artiste" is on a major or not, the term "indie" has become as mangled and bastardised as "goth".

As for James Blunt, I'd like to offer my services to Ms. Frankenstein & Strange, if a stabbin' is being carried out I feel it's only right and proper that I should "oversee" it.

I remember the times that everything that faintly reeked of The Stone Roses, Revolver or Teenage Fanclub was called 'indie'. While all they did was playing rock music.

I've heard a lot of rock, grunge and even punk and goff bands being called 'indie'. Or like mss. Boa Decia so nicely put it: the same story as with 'goth'.

I haven't heard as irritating a voice as his since The Fine Young Cannibals..and his lyrics would only be excusable if written by a sixth-former depressed over his parents stopping his pocket money.
