new here but appreciate the effort.
Should I ever, in a spontaneus act of rising above self interest donate a small sum of money, I would insist on it being used for refreshments, such as social celebrations/birthday drinks

All this fund raising reminds me: isn't it time we dug our hands in our pockets again?
Recession or no, it's been at least 12 months since the last round of funding and I'm sure Quiffykins needs a new Apple toy for Chrimbo.
C'mon people, you know the drill: click the Donate link at the top of the screen, or click here:

We all know how much this place means to us.

Paypal – Every theme has a PP button after you’ve logged in and before you click on ‘view last posts’. If you have a paypal account that works, do it. Now.
Cheque – Drawn on a UK bank account made payable to ‘BARRY BRIGGS’ but PM me for his address as it won’t be published on a public forum.
UK Cash/Postal Order – Again PM for his address.
Overseas/Paypal doesn’t work? – Send paper money with pictures of local historical figures, architecture and animals. Imagine his joy looking at all the ‘funny’ bank notes. Then he can wander down to his local money launderer and convert it all in one go. PM for address.
None of the above - Send him your mint copy of Damage Done and he'll sell it on ebay. All proceeds going to HL.
Obviously, anyone who’s in the PRWY and knows Barry locally, can make their own arrangements. But please, give something next time you see him.
Wow, was this really 5 years ago??

This is the first time I've bothered to read this thread, how much would be a mediocre non stingy donation, my car is eating the petrol, but we got our bonus this month (don't worry I'm n ot one of those bankers or anything!)

£250,000 will get you invited to a private dinner with QB, where you can influence which threads get binned.
£10 gets you a beer with Markfiend. And you have to buy the beers.
(seriously, I'm sure any donation would be appreciated)

£5 will raise an eyebrow and £50 will raise huge grin, and a few questions
Seriously, whatever you feel is appropriate based on how much you get out of this place
Btw, fixed that for you Laz. ME and Jo aren't together anymore

I've just send 10 quid.
It's not exactly much, but at least sort of recognition for all the (overnight) back-ups of our daily sermons here ...
...
And far too long ago, we last thought about that ...
