all 3 albums reissued with bonus tracks.

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Those lyrics make everything about Neverland in this article make a lot more sense; http://www.spookhouse.net/tsom/afterflood2.html

"...the entire population of the earth starting to travel from some indefinable point in space toward the earth at increasing speed. It would take an eternity to reach the earth - by which time you'd be reasonably spiritualised - and even when you reached the destination, you wouldn't actually hit the ground. You'd be going so fast you'd just go through and out the other side, where there is another eternity of nothingness... "

Don't support Amazon and big corporations, unless you have to. Music stores is where it's all happening. As they're slowly running out of business, next generations will be exposed to music on VH1 and MTV only (they may be already), and I won't waste words on these guys... I am myself at times guilty of online ordering, but I am trying to change that :D .
Good point, hearing the postie knock at the door with your parcel is just not aa satisfying a replacement as wading through all those racks of CD's, 7", 12" vinyl and finding a long lost treasure and rushing home to listen to it! :D :notworthy:

Never Land wrote:And will the earth break your fall
And the hurt break your will
And the heartbreak be over
It will

We are coming down, we fall
Hand in hand in hand in hand
We are coming down but we will
Never never land

I had a face on the mirror etc...

We are coming down, we fall
Hand in hand in hand in hand
We are coming down but we will
Never never land

With our backs to the sky
And our eyes to the ground
With the clouds far below
No horizon around

With the wind in our face
And our arms open wide
We will pass through this place
To the other side

All the days of our lives
All the ways of our calling
Fall

I had a face on the mirror etc...
[/quote]

Two conclusions:

1) Eldritch's comments on this song in the "After the Flood" interview now make perfect sense.

2) The comments on this song on the official website are seriously misleading at best.

Just a suggestion, but now that copies are trickling into people's homes, how about starting seperate threads for each of the three reissues?

We had a great local indie record store back in the 1980s - sold a range of stuff, inc goth, indie, etc, but in the early 90s when dance came along the owner started to look down his nose and take the p*ss whenever I enquired after new goth releases. Now they sell 99% drum and bass and it sucks big time! Looks like I'll be going online to buy 'em.
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

arrived today, it sounds fantastic, I even enjoyed Colours which I never have before. Never Land (full length) is a disappointment, I'm gutted.
Having said that, it's a lovely package, extensive sleeve notes and nice pics. It feels like a wee treasure, so I'm very happy to own it. :D

Today I was informed from my local shop that the 3 cd's for me will arrive at 03 November 2006.
So still have to wait for a little time.
The lady of the shop told me that it was Euro 12,99 for each CD.
In The Netherlands we are aware that CD's are not that cheap.
Still I am happy that I could buy the CD's over here in a shop.
By the way I ordered the CD's at "Music Store".
As I found out there are not so many shops who are going to sell the CD's.
I was asking around in some shops, but it was not in their computersystem.
At "Van Leest, Free Record Shop and Boudisque" they seem to have not a plan to sell it. Maybe when it is 3 November it will also be there to buy.

So untill then..............waiting

Yes indeed. In fact the people at Van Leest and the Free Record Shop had never heard of the Girls.
But I went there just because of curiosity. I ordered them at Music Machine and they should be in on the 3rd of November. A few days of waiting ahead....

I like Craig's bass and Gazza's geetar, :von: sounds rather emotional, the good Doktor's cymbals need tweaking, and as for Mr Huss - I don't think he's on it  :notworthy:
