Dude, I f**king hate winter. With a passion. But I'll be back for the traditional British winter of ungritted roads, hikes in gas and electricity and s**t TV.

Roll on summer 2011!

Comes with ageing I guess. When I was younger, I loved winter. Nowadays, I like it better when the sun is on my face.

Guess it's because I now have to do all the salt-throwing and snow-shuffling myself instead of my parents ;)

My relationship with a very close friend is strained to awkwardness because of the last blazing row I had with his girlfriend.

I understand a tiny bit of what you feel!

Thanks chaps. However, this is bad. I mean real bad. Possibly irretrievably bad. :(

A plane to Amsterdam sounds like my best option until the dust settles. ;D

I recommend Erica Jong's "Fear of Flying" - it might not help but at least it will take your mind of things

Was more of a 'Oh no, here we go again' kind of sigh. People getting drawn into other people's long-standing feuds and not leaving well alone.

As I've often said 'NEVER make friends with your idols'

Played 11-a-side for a full 90mins last night

I ache, I'm stiff as a board, I'm tired and I'm hungry.

michael gove.

just how much more worthless does he want to make us feel? i'm really sorry that i'm not a professional, like other countries' teachers are. i'm really sorry that i don't work more than 6 days a week. sorry that my kids just aren't up to your target levels because they are children not robots. and that parents don't seem to care about some of them and school is just a childminding service.
you arsing f***ing ****, you've made me cry cos i CAN'T DO ANY MORE THAN I DO!
ahem. sorry. i needed that.

Always remember Ems, you are doing the best job in the world* so there's no shame in admitting ypu can't do much better than best... :notworthy:

Don't let them get you, you know what is best for your children, not some prick with a suit.

*apart from prostitutes but let's not go there

but sadly, that isn't how it works. the suited ones ALWAYS know best. Every Statistic Matters.

MissIZ Kaat is teaching at a privately funded school, I partially feel your pain. Partially because Belgium seems to be a country where the educational system is still one of the better ones in terms of 'the-suit-knows-best'...
