The only version I know is the Exille in Cologne gig and that's one of the best sugars I have ever heard (the only one too)...

hmm I think I will be capable of smuggling in a very small (3x2 inch) voicerecorder which has the "super high quality" recording option for 4.5 hours. Should do, no?

Aye, I'm wondering that too! A time stamp please ARF and also your address. I'll be getting there about the time the BBQ is starting more or less I think! And please order sunshine for the day too if you don't mind.

They played it at Rock Ternat as well, IIRC, along with 'I wanna be sedated'.

You'll be joining me, Andrew and Claire on the bus journey to there then?

Of course if it works with time! :D Include Planet Dave as I'll be looking after him until we arrive at the BBQ.

Outstanding. We've got each other's mobies, so text me when you're in Leuven, and the lot of us will meet up at the bus station (really easy to find: Ugly big red 'modern' thing next to the train station)

*Inhales deeply* Edit previous post : it seems I spoke too hastily. The other person who lives here has expressed opposition to said planned BBQ, so the whole deal's off, I'm sad to say... :( And if you've not read this post before the edit : I won't be joining you at the gig, as I've chosen to go to see the Neph at Waregem after all. After having been at the two Sheperd's Bush gigs that were very good, I want more. It wouldn't have interfered with the BBQ, as I'd only leave around 6 - 7pm, but alas, this is not to be...

Sadly enough I missed the Ternat gig Iz, you're right:

Voor een intussen afgeladen volle tent hulde hoofdact Sisters of Mercy zich zoals gebruikelijk in een rookgordijn waardoor je nauwelijks enkele schimmen zag. De uitvinders van de gothic rock beschermen graag hun kitscherige mythe, al blijven hun hits 'Temple of Love' en 'Alice' natuurlijk onsterfbaar. Dat ze die mythe ook kunnen relativeren, bewezen ze met een cover van, jawel, 'Sugar Baby Love' van de Rubettes.

That's a shame ARF, especially the fact you're not joining in for the fun! But don't worry, there will be a next time, and there's a HL delegation available in Waregem as well who will certainly enjoy your company 8)

Have fun there!

Now, I don't wanna spoil the mood an'aw, but why do pre-drinkies in Leuven now the bar-b is off? It's a hell to find a parking spot there (yes, the IZMOBILE will be there as said!) and I betcha Tienen has some nice places too for a drink.

Or is this just because of the train and bus-peeps not being able to get any further than Leuven perhaps?

Oh and ARF, I'll get you for this one day! ;D I completely understand tho, it's just that I wanted to have a guid chinwag with you again in real life, enjoy the Neffs, give Sam a nice slap around the heid, he will be attending Waregem as well!

So, what is doable for all you peeps, what is the earliest hour we can meet? 1800 hours in Leuven? Or more towards 2000 hours?

Roll calls!

As early as it takes to get front row in Tienen! Or is that just wishful thinking?
