Just watched the Thin Lizzy: Bad Reputation documentary on BBC4, it was aces. Me & the Mrs both had to admit we had no idea Midge Ure played guitar for them for a while! (Mr Ure was brilliantly self-deprecating about the whole thing)

I knew that, I also know that Brian Robertson played wi Motörhead for one ellpee. I also had the unfortunate experience of meeting him in my capacity as head of Ents in my second year at art school. I hired the band he was in then (Wild Horses), he was pished and a Weegie khunt. Jimmy Bain (ex Rainbow) bass and vox was a gent.

Presently working my way through:
at the rate of one a night. Up to episode 4 so far and it doesn't completely suck yet ... although maybe sometimes I'd like to tip the balance a little more toward the super stuff than the family dynamic stuff.
I've been a bit of a Michael Chiklis fan since The Shield ... that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
So how the hell are y'alls anyhow? Miss me? Remember me even?

Robbo came across quite regretful for his khuntish behaviour in the doc, definitely too little too late though it seems. Sometime when you meet yer heroes they turn out to be zeroes!James Blast wrote:I knew that, I also know that Brian Robertson played wi Motörhead for one ellpee.
