Currently Listening To...Imminent Sonic Destruction!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

My usual Friday treat and (controversial statement ahoy) arguably the best album ever to come out of Leeds :

There's something bizarrely exhilarating about singing "I want to retire" at the top of your voice in the privacy of your car on the drudgery of the daily 7 a.m. stop-start traffic jam commute ...

What a fantastic music. Too bad that I will not hear any of his noew songs. :notworthy: :(

The other of my pick that day was: The Doors - the doors and L.A. Woman.

They don't make them like this any more. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

i was watching a load of music vids that have built up on my hard drive and i was forced to come to some conclusions/observations:

"she's in parties" is more than a great track, its almost as good as "the passion of lovers" and thats saying something.

julianne reagans brief tenure with the mish-take for "severina" almost disproved the rule about polishing turds.

gary marx was a fabulous visual treat when playing live; careering around the stage like a fractionally less-demented Angus Young, though considerably bigger and immensely better dressed, managing not to knock everyone else flying but at no point looking to see where anyone else is. genius.

my mate who got offered Anne-Maries phone number (by Anne-Marie) but "didnt have a pen" was a bloody fool.

danielle dax very under-rated, pussy-cat dolls very over-rated (except Ashliegh Roberts who is a sweetheart)

kylie is supremely hotter-looking in "confide in me" video, but its "cant get you out of my head" that makes me spill my gentleman's relish every time.

knew you'd be pleased. :innocent:
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

All of these are observations which I would agree with.
You should stand for election. Please.
I especially agree with your last comment. :innocent:

And I think you be referring to a different 'The Janitors'.
These guys are from Sweden.

CLT -Lady Gaga's entire studio output so far, at a very advanced level of volume and a near perfect level of clarity (through my 30-year old Goodmans studio monitors -car boot:£2) and just loving the level of production that pop fans mostly miss due to hearing the music through a battery powered biscuit tin.

and can i just say -her voice is PERRRRFECT...ahhh :D

Lots of chat recently about the thirtieth anniversary of FALAA, but not much fanfare for this, which is of the same vintage (and sounds twenty times more powerful) :

Totally agree.
And (clearly more JAMC influenced) I increasingly think this (which. I am CLT) is too :
