At last! Got my tickets today, the hotel and trains are booked. Can we go now?

Prediction wise....

1. Support bands cancel and the Violets step bravely up at the last minute.
2. Smoke machines refuse to work.
3. Filmic Delights turn out to be a documentary of the recording of the new album, given out free at the gig.
4. All songs played as they were recorded, including costume changes for each era.
5. Anniversary merchandise includes old star head logo.
6. Corrosion to be played, twice, early in the evening for Mrs v.

I live in hope.

Oh yes, 1969 would be amazing! A repeat of the Leamington setlist is more likely  Mind you, the Leam gig was a cracker!

Isn't it great how the mind runs wild with expectation?

Going off the recent interview I'm expecting/hoping for one or two of the old covers (Sister Ray, Jolene, 1969 or KOHD) plus a good mix of the best sisters stuff with a few from the new album to finish. I don't ask for much 8)

Hello one and all, just signed up here.

Just ordered my ticket for the 16th and am really looking forward to it, last time I saw The Sisters was back in '92 at which time I used to eat, sleep and breath their music...

I will be driving up, anybody know the best place to park?

I usually park in the side roads below the hospital and then walk up.

If that's busy, the financial area opposite and below the town hall (between the warehouse and the main road with the banks/bars, that leads south to the station) is usually pretty quite after 6 - that's where i parked for the manics in October, no problems.

Someone else might be able to give better advice, buts that's where i would go.

Car park over the Merrion centre is pretty close and its open 24hrs.

Could always go with the black jeans, black boots, Sisters T and leather jacket look.

I hear that it's quite popular round these parts!
