So far
The Wedding Present in Wrexham (although I would much prefer San Francisco with EPW)
The m*****n in Liverpool & a brilliant Planet X After Show Party.
John Cale at Liverpool Waterfront - if this e ticket from my brother isn't joey. If it is, I'll be crying in a heap outside the venue with a bottle of Gin.
TSOM - various venues

been in California for three weeks now so tomorrow we are heading home...to NL, then a Dubai work trip, then Hungary for health issues. and then back and froth to HU 3 more times
in between afterwards depending on how things work out, Rob Zombie possibly in Cologne, we'll got to GnR..yes yes the hubby did not see them in the 80s, and then Alice Cooper in Hungary. have to skip early September for the Sisters but will see them at least in Lux or Ams or both.that's all I can remember for now

Da Mish Libpool, will be the tall one in terrible trousers and a loud shirt, just for a change. Where are the pre-gig drinkies? Ma Egerton's?
....if I have to explain, then you'll never understand....

Smiley will know. I'm short and will be wearing whatever I can cram into the carry on case on Ryanair so it's a bit of a wait and see situation, but there will be some blackSwinnow wrote:Da Mish Libpool, will be the tall one in terrible trousers and a loud shirt, just for a change. Pre gig Gin & tonics sound like a plan and don't forget the Planet X After Show Party on Hardman Street which promises to be a great night. Doreen always puts on a top night and has invited the band along.Swinnow wrote:Da Mish Libpool, will be the tall one in terrible trousers and a loud shirt, just for a change. Bloody hell, Planet X, do I need my cowboy hat and Chelsea boots lol? No purple Guinness though, try it with a Tia Maria bombed in rather than blackcurrant, much better

Planet X is a must & you can either get the tunnel bus or sit/slump in the 147 club until the trains start up again. It'll be like 1984 all over again

Jeez, in 1984 the tunnel bus was no place for man nor beast. Far safer to stay in Libpool than venture back under the river that way.

Going to see Author and Punisher tomorrow night. Don't know much about industrial music post-1990, but looks interesting and it's only eight bucks.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

JAMC in Oakland next weekend
Psychedelic Furs in San Francisco in July I think
Alphaville in San Jose in August
Wandering all around Europe for the month of September on various missions and catching a lot of Sister's gigs.

Sultan 2075: Yep, that's him. It was neat. Turnout was not great, but the crowd was very diverse compared to expectations. Lots of MFA program types, quite a few pretty, very dressed up goth girls, and a Skinny Puppy contingent in addition to all the Mexican grindcore fans. Very Enjoyable.
Next up: Nick Cave at the Greek in June. Had to choose between NC and JAMC, so those of you going to see JAMC very soon, have extra fun for me please. If I could go, I'd be the very annoying one screaming Upsiiide Downnnnn!!!
