Currently listening to. The expanded remastered box set.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I've just remembered something. "Somebody Up There Likes Me" sounded really familiar even though (like I said) I've only ever listened to Young Americans probably once before. It's been bugging me all day, but I've just realised where I've heard it before.

It was on the soundtrack to an "art" video a gang of us found, and watched as frequently as we could get away with, when we were in our teens. (I think it belonged to someone's dad.)

Hookworms - Pearl Mystic

Good one! I hear some early Spiritualized kinda shoegaze there, a very good thing in my book.
Loop also invited them to play their ATP curated weekender in December. Yay! 8)

if the word gorgeous wasn't invented for siouxsie then she must have been
invented to define the word. :notworthy: :notworthy: 8)
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Now on the 96k/24-bit flat transfer from the original tapes. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
