It's not that expensive if you record in a home studio and master it yourself. Then again, it probably eats into quality :|
I love the way discussions travel.

I'm doing all the recording at home as well, using both Reason 2.5 and SONAR3 Pro. I could do the mastering myself through SONAR, getting the hang of the EQ is the biggest learning curve, but made easier if you get a good pair of nearfield monitors with a flat frequency response so you can hear everything. The first lot of demos I did through some ordinary PC speakers left me with too much muddy bass and the vocals far too low. Still, it's all good fun.

What set up are you using?

Can anyone please update me.Have they played anything remotely new on the tour so far?
Any new covers?
I'm currently deciding whether to venture to Leeds and or Manchester next week but as matters stand,I may as well play my Smoke & Mirrors bootleg to mysely of my iPod.

The answer is clearly nope. :?
Still these two new kick-ass axemen are a breath of fresh air. They sound quite different from the Pearson/Sheehan combo. 8)

Sorry, didn't notice this for ages :urff:

I use Audacity with a couple of homegrown EQ plugins (replacing frequencies and bandwidths with adjectives like "Shininess" for ease of use ;D) but I'd like to try using Sonar (I've got a copy of LE lying around but only really use it for MIDI). My monitors are nothing great, just my dad's old hifi setup (not a true representation, I know, but they do a better job than the old PC speakers I was using).

IMO these young ones rock more. I like this sound and I advice to go at least one of the two gigs DoKtor Spiggy.

I use Nuendo 3.2, M-Audio Studiophile SP-5B monitors, EMU 1820M soundcard. I had a lot of stuff a year ago, but then we had a burglary in our studio...so I have to go with the budget studio...

And ... I offered Ben Christo my help as a producer if he ever wants to record anything. That includes the Sisters of course. ;D

Yeah I wanted to put Adrenochrome but as they haven't played it since a long time, I thought it was unrealistic to get it ;)
Adrenochrome is one of my all time faves :)

It seemed to me like only the american shows got the priviledge of FALAA and Burn :( I wonder if the setlists for the UK will be any different to the rest of Europe?

oh wonderful setlist btw D.A., maybe you could try and have a word with von for us

It would have also been amazing to hear Driven Like the Snow, but only happening in dreamland atm  gotta love that bassline :notworthy:

Only happening in dreamland ever, I'm afraid.

Andrew's said quite clearly that it's too personal :|

That said, they've played France, so anything's possible

Except for a new album ¬_¬
