Go to the "Slightly happy today" thread..... :innocent:

Thursday is an achievement day within itself for me anyway...

* Go to work in the morning
* Afternoon spent on buses taking kids to swimming lessons...
(see CBPOB thread in a sec!)
* And now waiting for the second batch of baked muffins to come out the oven for the teacher's birthday bash tomorrow that will be spent in the playground!

I've outdone myself today and that needs a cheers! :D

<clicky> for the prize I've just won!

;D

achievement of the day was staying awake through a day-long meeting in a basement in our offices in London, then travelling back to Brighton during rush-hour...

...in the full knowledge that I have to do the whole thing again tomorrow!

Is it safe to assume you're self employed and corporate hospitality is a no go at the mo LC?

No I work for a publishing company owned by a multi-national, but they decided that Brighton was close enough to London for me to commute daily for a 2 day meeting. Train fare paid, of course. I'm currently hoping they'll send me and my girlfriend to New York in June for a week - in which case they pay for everything :D

Silicon sealed around the spare kitchen sink or watched the entire first series of Green Wing. Not sure which one is more of an achievement?

Ah, but I got out of the Grass cutting by sitting on my erse pretending to be doing paperwork ( I shuffled and punched a few pieces of A4 about for six hours letting out the odd sigh, huff & puff every wee while for effect :innocent: ), while actually watching the "Celebrity Soccer Six" that Liz McClarnon was presenting :innocent:
