Uhhhhh...no. Well, not by *my* standards, anyway (rifle back through the thread a bit to see what I mean). He seems tall when onstage, but I'd put him at 5'7" or 5'8" max...Nazareth wrote:Is Astbury tall though? He might be a midget for all i know

That's roughly 170.18-172.72 cm (I'm about 185.42 cm) tall. Though, like I said, I'm not sure. It was a long time ago, after all...psichonaut wrote:can you translate in cm?SINsister wrote:He seems tall when onstage, but I'd put him at 5'7" or 5'8" max...

My Heavy Metal Heaven arrives in 10 days. The girlfriend and me are going to see Motorhead at the Royal Festival Hall on the Saturday night, then off to the Cult in Amsterdam the next day. Bit worried for the poor girl, at 5ft1, if these stories of tall Dutchmen are true, she's gonna be lucky to see a glimpse of Astbury and Duffy. And if Motorhead are as loud as usual, then hearing the gig the next night probably isn't gonna happen either.Andie wrote:Heavy Metal Heavenpsichonaut wrote:i hope. ..5 gigs in a day slayer and irons guest stars(14/06)Andie wrote:

I think your height problem / difference is do to the locals in which you search ( Playgrounds, Ball Pits at the local McDonalds ) etc.SINsister wrote:-Chris Cornell (supposedly 6'2"). Yum.Nazareth wrote:...are there actually ANY tall rockstars?!

Nah, I don't think so. Sadly, most American guys just aren't very tall. Most aren't very intelligent, either, obviously.9while9 wrote:I think your height problem / difference is do to the locals in which you search ( Playgrounds, Ball Pits at the local McDonalds ) etc.SINsister wrote:-Chris Cornell (supposedly 6'2").
