Well a close friend asked me to be "Gothmother" to her son rather than Godmother, as neither of us "do" God, so I don't have to instruct him in the ways of Our Lord etc etc but I am still a guardian of sorts for him

EDIT: The Ancient History Geek that resides within Syberberg's head would like to point out that, at the time of the Gothic Invasion (aka Gothic Wars) by Aleric I, the Roman Empire was Christian. He was, therefore, not "enjoying the company of some Vestal Virgins", but was instead giving practical demonstrations to young, nubile novice nuns showing them why lust wasn't really that sinful.
