Yeah I don't watch sport at all really but am glad I saw this game. The ref was letting the game flow which makes for viewing pleasure. Our boys were also keeping it clean and being polite if they tripped someone.
It really was a good game to watch.

It was a great game indeed, I'm very impressed by Holland I have to say.

I'm already beginning to get nervous about the Sweden vs Greece game tonight. :|

Thought the Spanish were great! Their goals and play were fantastic to watch. Would like to see them play Holland. The Dutch are the best team I've seen so far though, as I think the Spaniards might burn themselves out.

Spain played clever and effective against a weak and naieve Russian team. They did not have to go very deep to get this good result.
Holland will meet Spain in the quarter or semi finals when both teams will manage to reach the second stage. A final between Spain and Holland is impossible in this strange system.

Spain played superb today, but normally we always start good but when the play off starts , normally in quarters of final we´re out ......


here in spain to pass the quarters of final it would be like they won the cup...

Thank God the Swedes scored, because the Greeks were terrible and their attitude stank (a couple of nasty kicks aswell).

Have got high hopes for Czech vs Portugal tomorrow.

I think the Czechs are a little overrated now. Certainly not as good as a couple of years ago.
