- new song (I think it is called arms or armed - don't know for shure) - it's the one we know from one of the US instrumental soundcheck
- crowd sucked - no action, no moshpit, really poor audience
- lot's of smoke but not an overkill, most of the time you could see at least one band member
- the sound was not very good at my spot BUT my recording sounds very, VERY well (thanks to cardoid mics^^)
- no marian, no floorshow, no good things, no susanne
- romeo down was in the setlist

Sorry, I'm really tired so this is all I have to say for now

It says "New Song" on the tin, and it probably, judging by the soundcheck recording that was out last autumn, is a f*cking ace one, and there's just muttering about the rather poor contemporary versions of very old ones?
That's beyond me.

The crowd pays Eldo back; in Paradiso he was often seen with his arms crossed, looking bored, walked offstage when not singing etc.

In my eyes, that is a perfect attitude, tho.

No set list sorry...

verz muted show... Sound was good & I thought the band were great but the crowd didn´t really get going where I was until Lucretia...

It was also a bit weird when they went off after Flood... It wasn´t like the end but just like they just walked off ... or was that just me...
The "new" song sounded fantastic though

No marian either...

Is the new song an instrumental song or one with lyrics?

the new song has lyrics, of course.

setlist (probably not in correct order)

afterhours
crash and burn
ribbons
train / detonation blvd.
alice
anaconda
flood I
still
giving ground
dominion / mother russia
on the wire / teachers
first and last and always
summer
arms (new song)
romeo down
flood II
---
something fast
vision thing
---
lucretia my reflection
top nite out
temple of love

that's it.

solid concert, audience sucked big time.

von left the stage around 2 minutes before the actual ending of "flood II", just ben and chris played the song until it was finished.

Or did i dream this?
On the recording of the april 85 gig in Hamburg the crowd yells for Marian and :von: replied: "I hate to see a man cry especially when it’s me".
No Marian was played :innocent:
Christian wrote:You are right - as far as I know did the Sisters never ever play that song in Hamburg. Neither in the 80ies, nor on the Vision Thing tour or later...
They did actually play it once overthere, at the end of 84 (november 16th to be exact ). Never after that though... and still not 25 years later!

Thanx for the quick reviews people. Another 'new' song hey?! Jolly good ;D :notworthy:

New song, fantastic. The instrumental soundcheck version is awesome, to get :von: 's dulcit tones over the top must have been quite special. :D

Would very much like to hear it, should anyone be kind enough to post, I'm sure there are many here that would be eternally grateful :notworthy:

(Sorry, trying very hard not to grovel, but I do believe that I am failing :innocent: :D)

Solid gig indeed but very lame audience.

I was standing in the back of the venue for most of the time where the sound was pretty bad. Romeo Down sounded awful.

I went to the mosh pit for the encores where sound and atmosphere were much better.

Has been nice to see so many well known faces.

:notworthy:

And again I did neither meet Cyberbio nor Doc Sommer. Next time...

Had a short chat with Ben after the gig. The new song is called "Arms" indeed and has been written by Chris. Cool guitar riffs on that one. However reminds one pretty much on Killing Joke. 8)

Too bad I had to cancel the trip to Berlin. :-(
