The answer is in the flyer if you look very closely ;-)

(the record stores) Pet Sounds, Record Hunter and Sound Pollution.

Maybe they are available at other places as well.

Capacity is 3500 so I don't think they sell out this one.

Hey guys,
first time poster long time listener. Had a quick question about this gig.

I've just moved to Sweden with my wife (living in Umea, previously lived in New Zealand and Australia... big change!) and we're crashing at Cityhostel - Central Station. I'm guessing (as mentioned previously) we just jump on a south bound train from Central and get off at the Gullmarsplan T-bana?

Sorry if this is kind of obvious question, I just don't want to leave anything to chance and miss out on my first Sisters gig.

cheers!

Welcome to Heartland, and Sweden. :D

I will let some of the locals answer your question since I'm from Norrland as well...

That's right. Green line from T-Centralen to Gullmarsplan. Or you could get off at Skanstull and have a bear at Broder Tuck on Götgatan.

Here's a map on how to get from Gullmarsplan to Arenan.

Thank you for the map.

Any news when the Sisters will go on stage and if there is a support band?

The support band Ulterior will go on stage around 19.30, so I guess that means short before 21 för the Sisters.

Lilla (=small) Arenan is now Stora (=big) Arenan, 2200 tickets sold so they are playing the full-size venue, cap. 3500.

Wow that's good news. And I guess they will sell a couple of hundreds more the coming weeks. :)

Is Stora Arenan at the same place like Lila Arenan?

Yeah it's the same place, just that they will use the whole arena instead of half.

OK after much map searching and different names/addresses, I think I've worked out roughly where the venue is. Is it easy to spot or is it a large anonymous building in the middle of an industrial estate? I suspect the latter...

Ha, so f**king cool - I've lived abroad too long, sort of miss all those IT features in Sweden!

But wait, they won't let me over the bridge to the venue

Great, thanks! How far is the walking distance approx.? Is there a bus going from Gullmarsplan train station to the venue?

The walk is about 1,5km according to this map which was linked to earlier ... probably 15 - 20 minute walk

Those figures are fairly correct from Broder Tuck, where the pre-gig drinking is, but from Gullmarsplan it's much closer..

These are the exact words I got from Luger march 12, not even a week ago:

"Sisters säljer bra, vi kommer att sälja ut mellanvarianten av Arenan, vilket är bra."

rough translation "Sistera are selling fine, we'll sell out the mid-size version of Arenan, which is good"

Yeah, "good" if they'd continue selling the rest of the venue...what the f**k is going on, I thought there were 1300 tickets still available, too hard to lift up that blocking curtain?

Have one ticket left to buy, so if anyone cannot go, PM please :(

No, they don't have any left...and confirmed from another guy at Luger that this is the intended size. Time to start looking for real then!
