Talking, talking, talking... (currently ... youtube)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Classix Nouveaux ?? Definitely in the Top 5 of Worst ever Gigs at Rock City. IIRC the DJ used to play this between Our Daughter's Wedding (Lawnchairs, natch) and that "Drac's Back" abomination.
You redeem yourself somewhat with "Tank", however ...

Hee hee, I went to that - can't remember if it was before the gig they did in Lincoln or after and Our Daughter's Wedding were the support.

Actually, I think you're wrong - Toyah at Rock City was appalling

I saw Classix Nouveax at Rock City they were headlining some "Revue" which had several bands and went on for ages.
I have also seen The Sweet at Rock City, but without Brian - just a three piece Sweet. I dont know if they had fallen out or if he was having one of his heart attacks.
I also saw Transvision Vamp at Rock City.
But thankfully not Toyah
