Yeah do it...one day when I can finance these things by myself I will do just that! Thanks for the info Andie and I also saw the two are impressed with each other through my own networking and smart brains!

very strange to read this thread... so many things happening and then just like that it's all over...
If both FGG & ARF aren't able to play, then the Body Electric/Pure Cult thing seems a bloody guid alternative! I know BE aren't expensive and I gather PC aren't either, so that expanded Back to the Roots thang in Lier seems to be a good idea.
Oh yeah, Sojo was a great idea too... a nice & sleazy place, perfect for the HL massive

Yeah I agree with you RJ...on all points.
in my brief conversation with Pure Kult there was no mention of payment, which could mean two things...
They're free to a good home
or
We just never got that far

Okay for one thing, contacting Sojo was not possible I know due to no answering of phones and also via email a TWO week wait! That within itself is way out!
ARF is able to play but not that with a new album and the organizing of such an event aren't doable, with respect I understand that...
The saying that's it's not over until the fat lady sings...well I still don't hear any fat lady singing! Look there is hope for those who want to, but then it looks like *gutter chief* has to start helping with these things but I just don't live in Belgium! Love the Belgium boys, the country and being there, that's not the issue!
AND you lot are just fuckingpartylovinggoths that WANT to get together!

Just start a new thread when something does pop up, this is getting too complicated.

You are now only catching up...no wait Z, us here speaking except for James do know what's going on...the HL massive will just have to bear with us...
We are just putting thinking hats on as to what could happen..
There is also a thread for a HL meet up where some bands on here have already given a "we're in" but that also just dissolved.
It's all the boss's fault anyway...saying there would be no planned meet up for next year. Everyone went into blind panic and started to want to organize things themselves and this kind of thing happens! Mwahahahah I can just see him laughing as he reads this as all the organizing that goes into this isn't cat p!ss and we get to appreciate things a bit more.

Looks like a rumour after all.
There are always Sisters gigs to meet up. A few next
year and some more in 2011.
@ Paul: I'll come and watch soon. In January that is.

That's why most organized events are first discussed behind closed doors until they have at least a vague shape
No stab at you Debs hon, but well, now you see it does take more than a snap of the fingers to cobble something like this together...
Back T Roots is, roughly spoken, on a 4-5 parties-a-year base.
Give me some hard facts and data and I will contact Steven from Back T Roots about it. For the Feb 20 do, I guess bands are out of the question, since it is a Really Back T Roots party this time (going back to the roots of the first Back T Roots parties
), but the next one has to be possibel indeed.
No date for the next one yet but I figure it will be somewhere May or June or something like that.

AND instead of starting yet another obscure thread, maybe a mod can change the title (again) into "HL Meet - possible scenarios discussed HERE" until we have something solid?

No stab taken at all! I know how organization works, I was just PA (so to speak) but I like the way my snap of the fingers gets minds thinking in here IZ!
Oh well...this thread does speak up for what we all can think and hope about!
Oh and when I speak PA I always speak globally too!
Hit Europe, America, South Africa, Australia....
