IPOD SHUFFLE

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I am sorry, but either shuffle is not working or I should put more than one song on my iPhone.

yep

my itunes library contains the majority of music i won, digitised. it's about ~130gb but it grows all the time (courtesy of blogspot etc ;))

the lists i've posted above are based on the built-in "itunes dj" feature which creates a random playlist from your entire collection, hence it comes up with all kinds of stuff  :D

i never both rating stuff in my itunes library so it gives equal weighting to the entire collection.

when it comes to listening to stuff on the move, i have an 8gb iphone with about 6gb free for mp3s. i've got it set so that itunes will fill that space randomly from my entire ~130gb library... that can also lead to some fairly oblique stuff creeping in ;D

occasionally i will delete certain tracks itunes has put on the iphone and replace tracks manually, but i tend to like the utter randomness of what it plays 8)
