Seven-person mosh pit, very static crowd. Clear sound mind.

Oh o.k. not the Sisters' fault then? Maybe you could do some atmosphere and cheering for 10? :D

Just came back from Luxembourg. Good show from the boys, even though the sound was a bit muddy (second row).
No real surprise in the setlist. Highlights of the evening were FALAA, On the wire / Teachers, and Kiss the carpet. I'd have liked to have some Never land or Rain from heaven. Tant pis.
Good to see some HLers : Eva, Andrew S., Paul, Pat, Koen, Zeno...
Uncle Eldo's now so skinny, he's starting to look like Mr Burns with sunglasses. ;D

Image

Got two t-shirts : one Alice and one Slept. Oh and the postcards were a very nice touch. :notworthy:

Too bad the area's changed so much. 5 years ago, it was no more than an industrial wasteland. The venue was surrounded by closed down factories. It gave the whole thing a great feeling and an awful lot of style. The factories were replaced by shops, restaurants, and business towers. More up-to-date I guess, but also much less original (and much less gloomy I have to admit).

BTW I was surprised at how they upgraded the good Dok. I remember Barry bitching about how outdated it was, and how they had to keep the volume down because the Dok simply couldn't keep up. It now runs on no less than three MacBooks. And when they turn down the lights before the shows starts, all you can see on the stage is the three apples. ;D
That's free advertising I guess. :innocent:

Interesting, Badlander, haven't thought about that, but now that you mention it I remember the apples!

Great to hear they at least reinvest something of their fortune from endless touring
