The original entrance looks so lovely. It had been quite a loss,
if they had not restored it ... so kudos to the owners for their committment ...
...
No problem. I think the owners were probably legally obliged to restore it as the building is listed, as far as I know. But yeah, it's nice to have the original restored. It's a great building.

Some of you may be interested in knowing that you can get Duvel in a few pubs round this part of the world too.

The Olympia is one of the nicest venues I've ever been in, so this has the potential to be a dream gig. It's bang smack in the centre of Dublin, which is a small city anyway. There are tonnes of nice pubs nearby, lots of restaurants and loads of places to stay if you're visiting - it's on the same street as Trinity College and is about a five minute walk from Grafton Street and St Stephen's Green. Well happy about this, and I'd guess it's going to be a big gig - I know a lot of people who are going who would never consider travelling to see The Sisters.

I'm jealous of all you people travelling to Dublin for The Sisters.
What's the name of the condition when they play in your hometown and your reaction is: "Grand! But I wish it was in Belgium or Hungary or somewhere..."?

I hear you but think about it... the money you save not travelling can be used to travel somewhere else to see them!
(incidentally, I tried this logic on my wife in an attempt to blag a trip to Switzerland and she just went "Leeds" . Oh, was that
this year? Seems ages ago now...
