He's been perfect the last 2 times I've seen in him Glasgow these last 3 years. And he'll be here again on Saturday.Mav787 wrote:John Cooper Clarke in Liverpool this Wednesday.

He was good but not great in Liverpool.Debaser wrote:John Cooper Clarke at the Drill Hall, Lincoln - I'm thinking Wednesday
Yeah, he was better the last 2 times before here in Glasgow. A few people actually shouted 'Do a Poem' as he was rambling on and on and seemed rather lost for most of the performance. There was a big turnout though, probably because of the BBC4 documentary, and I overheard most of them afterwards saying how much they enjoyed it...Mav787 wrote:He was good but not great in Liverpool.Debaser wrote:John Cooper Clarke at the Drill Hall, Lincoln - I'm thinking Wednesday
I'll have to kind of agree but still hugely enjoyable. I've always preferred it when he reads his poems over backing tracks but he hasn't done that for years! The support poet (who I'm wanting to call Mike Garry) was good too.Big Si wrote:Yeah, he was better the last 2 times before here in Glasgow.
