GOD wrote:Steve blames Basil for everything .... "fiddlesticks" exclaims Stevie Goff, "I seem to have burnt my crumpets. Where's that darned cat, it's his fault!"
But with a Hungriglish accent.
Oi!
I resemble that remark.
He did walk across my keyboard this week though

Ha, paid too much. nothing is too much to try and deal with 30 kids on one side, the stupid govt on another and parents on another. there's another side, but i can't see that for paperwork.

I have a multitude of excuses for staying on the sofa!
One lung
A patched up heart
An overworked pacemaker
A total of five knee replacements - No I do not have five legs
Shoulders pinned
Hips pinned
Ankles held together with the contents of a school stationery cupboard
I'm lazy

ASDA is worse, I was once stopped after setting the alarm off on the way out. I had a wooden walking stick, was wearing shorts and tatty 70's Arsenal top. I was accused of shoplifting - where I supposedly stashed these stolen goods is beyond me!

And no Ms Strange, the Arsenal top in no way caused any alarms to go off!!

So that was GW9. Lovely for clean sheets, not so good for much needed hat tricks and assists. I mean, we all like to see the less hyped teams do well, but not when our scores suffer, innit? I'm not sure many of the big guns came out more than half cocked - apart from Liverpool's great goals. Not even Chelski were THAT good, but Maninho Utd fought hard to bear off the Balls D'or this week for complete facepalmness. (I'm not sure how Rashford managed not to get the Golden Boy award given his 'scoring on various debuts' record, though. And good luck to the other PL players in the Ballon D'or, against Messi and the other bloke.)
Anyway, back to us. Let's have a look at the Scores on the Doors - EIB stormed to a 29 point win this week even without a Sterling effort. Well done. IGM are still in the overall lead by 56 points with BBS needing a few stars to start shining. Is performance linked to tours?
The Yellow Jersey
is still being inhabited by
Nikolas Vitus Lagartija, who has the H2H crown firmly attached to his person as well.
I hope the bottom half of the ensemble is black
The Big Shout Out goes to
Hom_Corleone for a difficult and well earned 61!
Onwards to The Other Place's shed for GW10 - be stalwart! Be brave! Bring your own beer in case it runs out!
Thanks to
Mav87 and
Pista for their help
and NO thanks for all the claws Doppel has just stuck in my leg whilst I typed this.
