covers you'd like to see

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Is there a compilation of the best versions of the newest batch of new songs (the flurry of new songs done in the last 2-3 years)?

Yeah, this is what the evidence supports. There probably were other factors that helped enable his reluctance, but ultimately it's Von's band and Von's rules.

It is telling that when in the past he did have to do it, he did do it. So when he had contracts hanging over him, and was dependent on it for income, he did it. But it's noticeable that he stopped as soon as he managed to work himself into a position where he didn't have to.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Mark Lanegan - Kingdoms Of Rain

That would be a lovely affair. Fitting his voice. Tongue in cheek opportunities. Optionally great with a female bv. Ok, fits in badly with a wholesome Sister Ray medley. Or maybe it doesn't. Dont't mind me.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
