Explain your name

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Mine's ginger and white and she's called Casbah. Because she rocks. :von:

er... because one's always causing trouble and the other is ginger. I have moments of little imagination.

i used to know a chap that had two cats. one was very furry and never made a sound, it was called "purry furry thing"... the other was small and used to purr a lot and had very short fur, and was called "furry purry thing"

go figure.

I only have one. She's called Stella. Don't ask why. My son gave her that name. (And it's a song by Interpol)

Fonzie - cos he was a cool cat. :von:

Mitzi - cos she's feisty.

Pebbles - cos she's cute.

Francis - cos his Mum wanted a girl. (I can laugh about it now. That's a sign of maturity. )
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

I like the way this thread has morphed into 'Explain your CAT's name'...

Mine is called Tammy, but just because that's the name she had when I got her.

More interesting is my friend at work who has 3 cats called Mitzy, Gizmo and Fudge.

have I mentioned Angie? She moved in from downstairs when she saw what a good life Rover has. The neighbours were not too chuffed about that.

Nothing more exciting than that I'm impressed that my car goes round corners so quickly.
And because of my obsessive personality.
And Paddy reckoned I have a firm handshake.
