I don't remember much about the 80's, the words drug, induced and stupor spring to mind, but I do remember the Sisters were considered Goth. As opposed to Killing Joke (more my cup of tea at the time) who were technically Goth but considered post punk rockers

The only good goth is the dead goth. Hmm this is redundant, most of them ARE dead anyway, aren't they? At least some look like they are.
And the Sisters are NOT goth, I don't listen to goth music

And i agree with gs, dressing in black is a matter of personal choice, has nothing to do with gothness

By the way, does anyone else think Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor kicks *ss? It's really beautiful isn't it?

Something that once was meaningful, artsy, had depth and beauty turned into a bunch of clichès put together by a younger (and cluless) generation
And the fact that americans discovered gothdom didn't help much either, did it?

By the way, i'm not bashing america or the young (i'm still a young kid myself ), i just mean that when something becomes fashionable usually its 'soul' is ruined, whatever that is
