Well it's a novel way of turing one whale carcass into sushi sized pieces I suppose...

as long as you don't mind walking a mile away to collect your portion...

I think the Blue three-quarters of Liverpool quite enjoyed it too. ;) :innocent:
Even I, in the slightly South of the Mersey are of 'pool-ness, found it amusing.

And then had to revert to type, readjust fake 'tache and hurl abuse at the tv screen (as everybody knows, a true football fan never actually goes to a match!)

I was so hoping the whale would survive! If it had, it definitely would've been one of the best things I've seen on telly for ages. :(

I'm not planning on going anywhere! *of course I remember the confusion then - I was a virgin to forums and just dived into HL in the wrong way. A lesson learnt *
canon docre wrote:True. but on the other hand HL was a lot more funny to read before it was all about this "love & grouphugs-to-everybody-hippie"-s**t.
This "love & grouphugs-to-everybody-hippie"-s**t, as you call it, are the threads started when people are concerned about someone else. When it is something regarding illness or whatever I think some want to show concern and send best wishes, thoughts are with you in this time, kind of thing although I can't see it being hippie.
Sure when the boys are wanting to fight about whatever it can be hilarious to read, but you know like I do when it goes over the top it gets binned.

Well PiB, your whale thread has had some interesting replies!

Not a great deal, no. Would you like to explain what specifically about James' reply more than anyone else's you found to be of the greatest effect?
