Best Intros In The World... Ever!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I never liked Ace Of Spades.. but as far as Motörhead goes, the mighty Bomber has a killer intro. I think they recorded that track with Girlschool. :notworthy:

On a side note, I only learned the alt-code for ö because I wanted to write "Motörhead" correctly :P

a more than valid reason. :notworthy:

re. bomber- it wasn't recorded by both bands together but it's on the "st.valentines day massacre ep" released by motorheadgirlschool, performed by girlschool.

Oh yes. The sound of punk beginning. :notworthy:

Also, how could I forget "Enter Sandman"? The only thing that's been played to f-in' death on MTV that I still love.
That song doesn't "have an intro", it approaches  :von: .

Also, on a slightly different note, Visage "Fade To Grey".

More on the rock/metal spectre of the universe:

The Power of Lard - Lard
Jesus Built My Hot-Rod - Ministry
Poison - Alice Cooper
You Can't Bring Me Down - Suicidal Tendencies
Blackened - Metallica
Holy Wars - Megadeth (stunning! Argh!)
Det Som En Gang Var - Burzum (BoF! Agree with me puh-lease!)

And how could I forget:

Rammstein - Rammstein :notworthy:

I once managed to get a headwound to that song by headbanging a bit too far and slamming my head on the floor. Ahhhhh those were the days!

Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true. Jerry Lee Lewis Was the Devil. Jesus was an architect, previous to his career as a prophet. All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world, so there was only one thing that I could do, was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long

CHOON!

Same age and same taste in music, AATA were one of the first bands I got into also, right up to the Prince Charming period, they were a dam fine band.
