Saw that last year, my daughter didn't knew Frozen at that time.
Now she does, but that we got Frozen phase is over, now it's about Trolls.

But we got our parenting sucess:
1) she always sing along Bohemian Rhapsody
2) once, when radio played God save the Queen she asked us to turn volume up.

Oh yes, our boys are far from the usual Disney loving kids. Even at their age they know more about music than most people on any given day you in any mall in the country

Kreator and Sabaton in Berkeley last weekend. Septic Flesh in Oakland is probable at month end. I may be dating a metal head... OMD in San Francisco in March may suddenly seem tame?
Sabaton was adorable because there was a nine year old kid in the audience. The band saw him and brought him on stage to play the drums and join them for the final song.

Not into Sabayon at all, but I like their attitude towards the crowd
Septic Flesh and Kreator is more to my liking
March 1st it will be CRADLE OF FILTH and MOONSPELL for me and my dad!

Stiff Little Fingers - really good. Jake Burns looks like a darts player now though.
I do like their more recent material - just as much as the classics like At the Edge and Suspect Device. He's written a song about his depression that is absolutely spot on - simple but effective. Worth a listen if you want to look it up - 'My Dark Places'
Also, went to see the English National Ballet perform 'Giselle' (well, it's technically called Akram Khan's Giselle). It was well GOTH! Really enjoyed that a lot, ace set, music and spectacular dancing - haunting and mesmerising... not your usual tutu-ing about on tiptoes stuff.

Colter Wall at the U-Street Music Hall this coming Saturday.
A guy in his early 20's should not have this voice, and should not be able write these songs. Looking forward to it.

Nine Inch Nails in Vegas June 15.
Booked a suite at the venue and invited very inadvisable company. All set to make some memories.

Just nabbed tickets to Nick Cave at the 9:30 Club's new sister venue, The Anthem, here in DC. Haven't seen him since probably the mid 90's.
