Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Getting me some Hawkwind - Levitation action. On vinyl too; it's been a while and I'd forgotten how awesome it sounds! :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Yeah. I'm cobbling a playlist together to drown out the neighbours who are knocking walls down.
This was Barry's suggestion & is just the ticket

I see
May I suggest Ace Of Spades? One I've used many a time back when I was living in an Antwerp flat and the upstairs neighbours were really basketcases...

Under The Gun is also quite effective ... ... usually there's full silence all over the complete backyard by the end of the song ... 8) ...

I generally just hit annoying neighbours with some Talk About The Weather - it's particularly effective. :notworthy:

Oh, a disc filled with remixes by friends and none by Eldritch or the kids, now that's a shame!

GARY NUMAN - SACRIFICE

I have decided to give all Numan's "recent" albums a real proper listen so I have started with the above. I have had them since they came out and played them often but never really sat down and really gave them full attention.

I enjoyed "Sacrifice" immensely although I can't really get my head around why the Atheist seems to be so miffed with the Deity in so many of the songs. It seems rather illogical Captain.

Still on with "Exile".

Cute story.

20-odd years ago I'd bought the ROIR cassette of Christian Death's Decomposition of Violets. Only it was a mispressing and had this lot on it instead. I didn't return it cos I thought it was sufficiently interesting, but I'd no idea whatsoever who I was listening to.

Over the intervening time I'd lost the cassette, but every now and then I remembered this strange music that I'd no idea who it was by, and made an effort to find out who, based on searching for snatches of lyrics I could remember (and could decipher from the original poor quality recording).

Today the obvious finally dawned on me and I went to the ROIR website. Found it inside 5 minutes! And it's awesome. :notworthy:

Some Aussie Power Pop from the 90's with 60's guitar pop, surf and new wave influences
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
